== EMBO Practical Course:Structural Characterization of Macromolecular Complexes, Grenoble, June 2-7, 2008 ==
The current trend in structural biology is to study macromolecular assemblies of ever-increasing size and complexity. This EMBO practical course aims to teach the strategic use of biochemical and biophysical techniques to expedite such studies. The primary focus is on how to produce, purify and characterize multi-subunit protein and protein/nucleic acid complexes for structural analysis. This course is primarily aimed at Ph.D students and post-docs engaged in challenging projects concerning the structural biology of macromolecular complexes.
